Every ceramic coating job starts with the same question: how much correction does this paint actually need? Get it wrong and you either pay for work you didn't need, or you seal in swirls and oxidation that were never going to go away on their own. Here's the real difference between the three levels.
Gloss Enhancement — No Correction
This is a single-pass machine polish that boosts shine and clarity without removing anything from the clear coat. It's included free with every ceramic coating package here, because it's prep, not correction — it makes healthy paint pop right before the coating goes on. If your paint has no real swirls or oxidation, this is often all it needs.
1-Step Polish — Light Correction
A single-stage machine polish that removes light swirl marks and mild oxidation. This is the right call for paint that's been babied for the most part but shows some wear from regular washing, a few parking-lot scuffs, or a couple years of sun exposure.
2-Step Polish — Heavy Correction
A two-stage cut-and-refine process for paint with deeper scratches, heavier swirling, or noticeable oxidation. This is what neglected paint needs before a ceramic coating goes on — because a coating locks in whatever the paint looks like underneath it. Coat over unaddressed swirls and you've just made them permanent and glossy.
How We Decide
Every quote here starts with a free in-person inspection under proper lighting, not a guess over the phone. If your paint needs more than you expected, you'll hear about it before any work starts — never after.
